Folklore Ensemble Dúbravček
Who are we?
Dúbravček brings together the Children’s Folklore Ensemble, which laid the foundation for our love of traditions and art, and the Adult Folklore Ensemble, which carries on the legacy as our members grow up. With over 120 children and 40 adults, we form a passionate, dynamic community dedicated to the dances, songs, and music from our region and all across Slovakia.
In addition to local performances, we actively participate in cultural events and festivals. We have presented our art at national and international festivals alike, sharing the richness of Slovak culture throughout the world.
Whether on stage or in the streets of our home village, our mission remains the same: to preserve and share the beauty and significance of our folklore traditions. We are a family united by dance, song, music, and the joy of culture. Join us and discover the heart of folklore with Dúbravček!
FS Dúbravček
Dúbravček Adult Folklore Ensemble was founded in 2012 on the initiative of young women who had aged out of the children’s ensemble. Missing folklore after leaving, they returned, and through their passion and effort, the adult group gradually grew into what it is today.
Folk music band
Since 2012, the Dúbravček Children’s Folklore Ensemble has had its own folk music band, which has become an integral part of its performances. Together with our dancers and singers, these musicians are the heart and soul of the ensemble. Their talent brings energy and authenticity to every single performance.
